Clothing

Many small and trendy clothing stores can be found in Boston, but stores with large and often less-expensive selections are too large to be found in the center of Boston. You may order clothing online or check the website to find a store near you.

Here are some larger department stores that sell clothing and home goods:

  • Target
  • Kohl‘s
  • Walmart
  • Macy's

You can also find a number of clothing stores at large shopping centers (malls). Here are some large shopping centers in Boston:

  • Prudential Center
  • Assembly Row (outlet shopping)
  • Faneuil Hall Marketplace
  • Cambridgeside Galleria

Quick changes in weather happen regularly, and there is no “dry season” or “rainy season.” Your clothing should include everything from short-sleeved shirts to heavy winter coats.

  • Summer weather (from June until August) usually ranges from 60o to 95o F (16o to 35o C).
  • Autumn weather (from September until November) usually ranges from 45o to 75o F (8o to 16o C).
  • Winter weather (from December until February) usually ranges from 0o to 40o F (-18o to 3o C).
  • Spring weather (from March until May) usually ranges from 35o to 60o F (3o to 16o C).
