Fenway/Kenmore
Quick Comments: University Students, Night Life, Fenway Baseball Park
Transportation: “E” Green Line train and buses
The Fenway/Kenmore neighborhood is home to the Museum of Fine Arts, Symphony Hall, and Boston University. Kenmore Square offers a more social, urban atmosphere and is perhaps best known as the home of Fenway Park, the oldest Major League Baseball Park, which was built in 1912 for the Boston Red Sox baseball team.
Lansdowne Street includes many of Boston’s most popular restaurants and bars. Although the Fenway area consists of a large number of university students, it also has a significant population of professionals, young and old.
It is recommended that you rent/lease an apartment in this neighborhood after you arrive in the U.S. and can evaluate the area.
