About PIPS

The Partners Office for International Professionals and Students (PIPS) ensures regulatory compliance for international researchers and professional staff.

Services we offer:

  • Processing visa sponsorship requests for all non-immigrant staff, scholar and student visas (including J-1, J-2, H-1B, TN, E-3 and O-1 visas)
  • Advising both the hiring department and the Foreign National about initiating and extending visa status
  • Providing an International Orientation for newly-arrived researchers, which includes information about travel, visa requirements, and adjusting to life in the United States
  • Offering visa presentations for hospital administrators, international tax resources, and other relevant programs
  • Advising the Partners community on travel requirements, changes to and extensions of visa categories, attorney referrals, and green cards
